Alter is a fictional health studio based in the USA that focuses on the interplay between physical and mental health. The pebble, designed for this company, should be worn during breathing exercises. It records the cycles and suggests improvements.

The word mark and derived logo extend from the concept that mental and physical health should be unified. The ever-evolving mental state is reflected in the hand-drawn letter ‘a,’ while the robust horizontal lines of the other letters symbolise the consistent exercises necessary to achieve balance between the physical and mental states. Additional elements, such as invoice templates and business cards, were also thoughtfully designed.
